Privacy Policy

HeatSoles ("we", "us") provides sneaker restoration and resale-intelligence tools. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have. We aim to collect as little as possible and to be plain about it.

What we collect

• Account: your email and authentication details.
• Content you provide: photos or videos of shoes you upload or capture, plus any notes you add.
• Camera: only when you tap "Allow camera." The live camera runs in your browser; a captured photo stays on your device and is only sent to us when you submit a scan. We never access your camera without that explicit permission, and you can decline and use a photo instead.
• Payments: handled by our processor (Stripe). We never see or store your full card number.
• Usage: basic, privacy-respecting analytics about how the app is used.

How we use it

• To run the tools you request (analyze a photo, estimate resale, write a plan).
• To operate your account, process purchases, and provide support.
• To personalize your results: the sales and projects you log train your own recommendations over time. The more accurate your data, the sharper your results; inaccurate entries make your results worse. This personalization uses your own logged data for your account.
• To keep the service secure and to comply with the law.

Who processes your data

We use trusted service providers, only to run HeatSoles, never to sell your personal data:

• Stripe: payments and subscriptions.
• Supabase: database, authentication, and file storage.
• AI model providers (via our AI gateway) process the inputs you submit to generate a result. Don't submit anything you wouldn't want processed by an automated system.
• Meta: advertising measurement (pixel / conversions). We do not send sensitive categories.

We do not sell your personal information.

Your photos

Shoe photos are used to produce your scan. We do not save them to your library unless you opt in (a clearly-labeled checkbox), and anything you do save is private to your account and deletable at any time.

Your choices & rights

• Access, correct, or delete your data: contact us and we'll help.
• Decline camera access at any time and still use the app.
• Cancel a subscription anytime; see the Terms.

Retention & security

We keep data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, though no method is 100% secure.

Children

HeatSoles is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required in your region), and we don't knowingly collect their data.
